"Go to the sign of Marvel's Axe, a dubious inn on the edge of the Thieves Quarter, in the City of Greyhawk, and look to your own wrist. If you perceive a bracelet and dangling dice, watch for the next throw in the war between Law and Chaos and be prepared to follow the compelling geas." -Signal

Dragons - Role Aids
Long before the AD&D 2e splat books and the 3.x/D20 edition "Slayers Guide To...." books there was an interesting line of products from a company called Role Aids. Dragons was just one of these products. This even tied in with a line of miniatures. All of these products were fairly well done but always an interesting read. I know for that even as recently as a few years ago many of these products were still available. These like most of the new class articles in the Dragon and such spawned a need for the players in my early groups to create a new character to test them out. These events were short lived and often ended badly. Still as with most early products they broke new ground and had something you could scavenge for your regular campaigns. If you can pick up and of the Role Aids products at a decent prize you ought to take a look back into the 80s.
