"Go to the sign of Marvel's Axe, a dubious inn on the edge of the Thieves Quarter, in the City of Greyhawk, and look to your own wrist. If you perceive a bracelet and dangling dice, watch for the next throw in the war between Law and Chaos and be prepared to follow the compelling geas." -Signal

Polyhedron #137

From the web:

Cover art: Hannibal King, ace troll artist, and all around nice guy. True story.

The theme of this issue was "Into the Unknown", with the credits page featuring titles like "Scout Ranger Service", "Native Guide", "Lantern Bearer", "Wilderness Tour Promoters", "Sherpas", and "Pack Horse" instead of the usual Publisher, Editor, etc. Also the editors of this issue seemed to have some fascination with monkeys...

Featured articles:
  • Uncovering Government Agenies on the Web
  • City Stories - The Temple of Mystra
  • Decathlon Sci-Fi Winners
  • Planescape and AD&D Adventures
  • The Use and Abuse of Warhorses in AD&D
There was also a Readers Survey on page 32, an ad for the Winter Fantasy 2000/RPGA Summit on the inside front mailing cover, and the Adventurer's Guild Retailers list on the outside back mailing cover.
