"Go to the sign of Marvel's Axe, a dubious inn on the edge of the Thieves Quarter, in the City of Greyhawk, and look to your own wrist. If you perceive a bracelet and dangling dice, watch for the next throw in the war between Law and Chaos and be prepared to follow the compelling geas." -Signal

Red Steel (1994)

From the web:

This campaign box details the lands of the Savage Coast, itself a part of the larger Mystara setting. The box contains the following:

- The Campaign Book, detailing the background and special rules for the Savage Coast.
- The Lands of the Savage Coast book, offering background on the locales found in the setting.
- 3 maps of the setting.
- A audio CD with an introduction to the setting, as well as background music and sound effects.

The Savage Land is home to a wide array of races. In addition to the standard AD&D races, players can also choose from the wolfish Lupin, the feline Rakasta or tortoise like Tortle races.

Adventurers must contend with the Red Curse, a mixed blessing of sorts that both grants power to those it affects while at the same time handicapping or impairing them in some way. The curse also produces Red Steel, a highly sought after magical substance used to make armour, weapons and other devices.
